We are seeking a Platform Engineer to join a growing infrastructure and platform engineering team supporting mission-critical applications and services. This role will focus on building, automating, and maintaining scalable infrastructure while partnering closely with engineering, security, and business stakeholders.
This is an opportunity to work in a highly technical environment where you'll help drive modern infrastructure practices, improve developer workflows, and support the reliability and performance of core systems.
Responsibilities- Build, deploy, and maintain containerized infrastructure and platform services.
- Support and manage Kubernetes environments and related orchestration technologies.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code and automation solutions.
- Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
- Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and participate in incident response activities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Support both cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies, including AI-powered tools, to improve platform effectiveness.
- 6+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Dev Ops, or Systems Administration.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting Kubernetes-based environments.
- Strong scripting or programming experience, preferably with Python.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
- Experience supporting cloud infrastructure environments.
- Strong understanding of monitoring, observability, and incident management concepts.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and infrastructure teams.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Experience supporting workflow orchestration or data processing platforms.
- Experience working in hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
- Exposure to high-performance or large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with security-focused infrastructure practices.
