Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Workday ERP Business Analyst to support Workday HCM and Financials initiatives. This role will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving requirements gathering, agile delivery, testing, and successful implementation of Workday enhancements and operational improvements.
The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis expertise with hands‑on Workday experience and a proven ability to facilitate collaboration across HR, Finance, IT, and vendor teams.
Key Responsibilities- esLead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for Workday HCM and Financials initiative
- s.Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specification
- s.Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospective
- s.Manage and prioritize product backlogs while ensuring alignment with business objective
- s.Coordinate cross‑functional teams to remove blockers, manage dependencies, and maintain delivery timeline
- s.Maintain project documentation including Jira tickets, meeting notes, decision logs, and status report
- s.Support release planning, change management, and deployment readiness activitie
- s.Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and user acceptance testing (UAT) script
- s.Validate system configurations against business requirements and track defects through resolutio
- n.Create and maintain SOPs, process documentation, workflow diagrams, and operational support material
- s.Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and help define priorities and roadmap initiative
- ons Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related fie
- ld.5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role within an IT environme
- nt.
Hands‑on experience supporting Workday HCM, Workday Financials, or Workday Integratio - ns.
Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environmen - ts.
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or comparable project management too - ls.
Experience creating business requirements, user stories, test cases, and functional documentati - on.
Excellent analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skil
- ions Workday Pro Certification or experience participating in full‑cycle Workday implementati
- ons.
Knowledge of Workday configuration and integrati - ons.
Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, or transformation initiati - ves.
