Systems Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer in Boston.
Reporting directly to the Head of Technology Infrastructure, the Senior Cloud Engineer will shape the strategy and development of our cloud infrastructure and security.
Responsibilities:
- Design, architect, and implement secure cloud infrastructure solutions on cloud platforms (Azure in particular).
- Lead design, implementation, and operations of Kubernetes at scale.
- Mentor junior cloud engineers.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes.
- Help engineering teams troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis.
- Lead infrastructure and cloud‑related projects.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Dev Ops Engineer, SRE or similar role.
- Proven experience designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Expert Kubernetes knowledge.
- Strong Linux knowledge.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Strong understanding of cloud platform security features (specific to chosen platform).
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki, etc.).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
- Passion for cloud and staying current with the latest advancements.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, especially Azure.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices.
- Extensive experience with cloud infrastructure services: virtualization, networking, storage, compute services, etc.
- Strong scripting skills:
Python, shell, etc. - Strong problem‑solving skills:
Ability to identify and solve complex cloud‑related problems. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Leadership and mentoring skills.
- Ability to gather requirements at all levels, analyze them, and lead technically the project.

MA Pay Range: $71,250 – $143,750
