FedNow Operations Center Senior Analyst - 3rd Shift

Overview

Federal Reserve Bank of Boston seeks an FNOC Sr. Analyst for the Fed Now Service. This 3rd shift role (12am – 9am, Wednesday‑through‑Sunday) focuses on monitoring, risk mitigation, onboarding, and operational tasks for the Fed Now instant payment service.

• Develop deep expertise of the Fed Now Service and stay up to date on releases and development.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate risks and support participant onboarding.
• Serve as an escalation point for Level 1 support and handle customer requests and production issues.
• Facilitate high‑pressure troubleshooting calls, document processes, and provide knowledge base documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assess functional needs, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend solutions.
• Drive automation ideas and share knowledge to improve customer experience.
• Monitor key KPIs and support customer success metrics.
• Adapt to multiple roles in a growing organization.
• Provide guidance and training to analysts, including performance feedback.
• Assist in billing, accounting, reconciliation, risk and compliance reviews, and participant profile maintenance.

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience (or 10+ years); 5+ years equivalent experience acceptable.
• Experience in 24 / 7 support operations for a large enterprise.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Initiative to improve customer experience and a detail‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a demanding environment.

• Familiarity with ISO 20022 messages.
• ITIL certification.
