Description:

looking for a candidate to come in and take ownership of the help desk. They have been stuck in their way for years and they are looking for a high energy individual to help implement change and best practices. Plenty of opportunity to grow. The successful candidate will take initiative for process improvement on the help desk and desktop support teams.

They will be involved with both over the phone and face to face support. still has about 500-600 devices they will need to migrate, which the successful candidate will be involved in.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be a part of a growing hybrid helpdesk/desktop support team. The responsibilities will include answering phones, troubleshooting technical issues remotely and also troubleshooting technical issues in person. They will be involved in OS upgrades, hardware upgrades, and software upgrades. They will work on migrating 500-600 devices and improving help desk processes.

Business Qualification

Impact to the Internal/External Customer: rebuilding their entire IT department. There will be several projects including OS upgrades, hardware upgrades, and software upgrades. The impact to the internal customer will be a great customer experience through all their changes i.e. making sure the changes have minimal impact to the users so they can do their job.
