IT Help Desk Support

This is a contract opportunity. This is an onsite opportunity in Boston, MA.

Step into a hands‑on IT support role where your work directly supports a mission‑driven healthcare organization serving the South Boston community. You will be the go‑to person helping staff stay connected, productive, and supported with their day‑to‑day technology needs. • Provide first‑level help desk support to staff via phone, email, and in person
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, Microsoft 365, and connectivity issues
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities including computer setup, account access, and equipment inventory
• Support Windows desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
• Maintain documentation for common issues and elevate complex tickets to senior IT staff as needed

• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and desktop applications
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and One Drive
• Strong customer service and communication skills — ability to explain technical issues in simple terms
• Organized, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Prior IT support experience, internship, or structured IT coursework is a plus

This is a 6‑month onsite contract role based in South Boston, MA. This is a great opportunity to build hands‑on IT experience within a collaborative and mission‑driven healthcare environment while developing your technical and professional skills.

Pay Range: $19/hour
