Configuration Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Configuration Engineer to join a top global consulting firm. This firm delivers solutions through innovative management consulting, technology, and corporate & digital ventures. The engineer will join an agile engineering squad and will independently execute configuration, administration, and L2 support work across multiple smart office systems.

• Configure and administer Appspace for desk and room booking, including floor plans, booking policies, permissions, and office go lives
• Support and maintain Office Space during legacy offboarding, including cutover support and scenario staging
• Manage Microsoft Exchange Online room mailboxes using Power Shell, including booking policies, auto accept rules, and Outlook Room Finder validation
• Provide L2 Service Now support, troubleshooting platform and integration issues independently
• Support Verge Sense occupancy sensors post go live, including issue resolution and testing framework development
• Perform QA and integration validation for Vecos smart lockers during installations
• Own platform configuration end to end, working directly with global office stakeholders

This position is a 12-month contract with potential extensions. Individuals must be located in India, local to Delhi to go into the local office on a weekly basis.

Pay Rate: $13/hr-$20/hr

• 5-10 years of hands on experience administering, configuring, deploying, and migrating workspace/facility SaaS platforms (Appspace, Office Space, Condeco, iOffice, FM:Systems, etc.)
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online, including room mailbox management via Power Shell
• Proven L2 Service Now support experience resolving technical issues directly
• Strong English communication and experience working as an engineer in an Agile, sprint based environment
• Experience with Appspace and Office Space
• Exposure to floor plan files (SVG, CAD) or spatial data in system configurations
• Experience with Power Platform — Power Automate, SharePoint, Power Apps
• Microsoft Teams Room/room panel administration
