The Senior IT Trainer is a dynamic, tech-forward leader responsible for designing and delivering high-impact learning solutions for a global professional services audience. Combining adult learning principles with cutting-edge technology, you will create and lead live and virtual sessions, develop e-learning and other learning content, and champion the adoption of the Firm’s AI tools. Senior IT Trainer serves as a critical bridge between project teams and the firm’s practitioners, advocating for the end user during project development.
This role demands a self-starter who can prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced, high-pressure environment and still deliver on time.
- Lead engaging live and virtual training sessions for U.S. and International audiences, including comprehensive new hire onboarding, weekly skills-based classes, and bespoke training tailored to specific departments. Manage all aspects of classroom administration and one-on-one coaching.
- Design high-impact e-learning and support materials using tools like Adobe Captivate and Camtasia.
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Harvey, Copilot) to create learning content and accelerate the development of "just-in-time" resources. Identify other opportunities to use AI to improve team efficiency.
- Accelerate user adoption of the Firm’s AI tools. Identify manual, repetitive tasks that can be optimized or automated using AI. Develop talking points on Firm AI tools and when to use each. Create practice exercises for just-in-time learning opportunities.
- Partner with project teams from initial kick-off through post-project support to ensure new technology initiatives meet practical business needs. Assess impact of technical changes on end users and legal workflows; advocate for user-centric design and customization. Proactively identify potential areas of resistance among learners and develop targeted training interventions to address concerns.
- Analyze Help Desk trend data and user feedback to identify pain points, targeting training and curriculum updates toward problem reduction.
- Proactively promote IT Training services across all offices, building firm-wide awareness of available resources. Proactively prepare users for change by promoting pending projects and updates early in the development cycle.
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
