Overview

Explore an IT Service Management (ITSM) Co‑op role at Vertex, working on improving IT services and enhancing user satisfaction. This 6‑month experiential training program supports under‑graduate or graduate students, beginning in July 2026.

• Assist in project delivery of the IT Software Asset Program to improve our Service Catalog for requesting and onboarding software.
• Manage the transition of new or modified RPMS (Research, Preclinical, Manufacturing and Supply Chain – scientific enablement) IT software into the operational framework (Service Now SAM, Software Asset Management).
• Analyze metrics to assess service performance and gauge user satisfaction.

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with IT, sourcing/contracts, and scientific teams.
• Motivated self‑starter with data analysis and reporting skills.
• Prior experience with Service Now is a plus.
• Process design mapping using Visio is a plus.
• PowerPoint experience is a plus.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States now and in the future.

Full‑time, paid co‑op, $20.00 – $35.00 USD/hour Program dates:
July – December 2026
