Job Overview – Senior UX Program Manager
Compensation: $100/hour
Location:
Boston, MA
Schedule:
Monday to Friday (Remote)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior UX Program Manager for our client, supporting user experience initiatives, cross‑functional program management, and product development operations. This role will partner with UX, product, and engineering teams to drive complex projects across design, research, content, and related user experience functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong program management experience, expertise in UX workflows, and the ability to lead multiple initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilitiesas the Senior UX Program Manager
- Program Leadership: Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex user experience programs while ensuring alignment with business objectives and product priorities.
- Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Partner with UX, product, engineering, and other stakeholders to coordinate resources, timelines, and project deliverables. - Project Operations: Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, workflows, and reporting processes to support successful program execution.
- Risk Management: Identify potential challenges, resolve blockers, and implement solutions to keep initiatives on track and within scope.
- Strategic Planning: Support roadmap development, prioritization efforts, and operational planning while incorporating user‑centered design principles.
- Team Enablement: Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance team effectiveness.
- Education: Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in UX program management, project management, product operations, or related functions within a cross‑functional environment is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience supporting user experience, product development, design, research, or digital product teams is required, and medical device industry experience is preferred.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools is required. Experience with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Figma, or similar platforms is preferred. - Skills & Attributes: Strong communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities are required.
