TheOpportunity
We are seeking a high-performing Account Executive to drive new business growth within the U.S. legal market, with a focus on selling enterprise software solutions to law firms. This is a consultative sales role suited for someone with experience navigating complex sales cycles, building relationships with legal professionals, and delivering value-driven technology solutions.
The ideal candidate will have experience selling SaaS, legal technology, IP management, document management, or workflow solutions into AM Law firms.
Responsibilities- Drive new logo acquisition and revenue growth across law firms in the United States
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and close
- Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans
- Build relationships with Managing Partners, CIOs, Innovation teams, IP Partners, Practice Group Leaders, and Legal Operations stakeholders
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand client workflows, business challenges, and technology needs
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and value-based presentations
- Collaborate with Solutions Consultants, Marketing, Customer Success, and Leadership teams throughout the sales process
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM hygiene
- Represent at industry conferences, legal technology events, and client meetings
- Stay informed on trends within legal technology and law firm innovation
- 5+ years of enterprise SaaS or legal technology sales experience
- Proven track record of exceeding quota in a consultative B2B sales environment
- Experience selling into law firms or legal departments strongly preferred
- Understanding of legal workflows, intellectual property management, or document management systems is highly desirable
- Strong executive presence and ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple decision‑makers
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
- Experience selling legal tech, IP management, DMS, workflow automation, or enterprise software solutions
- Existing network within the U.S. legal market is a plus
