Salary/Hourly Rate:

$85/hr

Position Overview:

The Senior UX Designer will lead customer-facing design initiatives for systems across web, mobile, and connected platforms. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive, accessible, and engaging user experiences for patients and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities of the Senior UX Designer:
  • Drive end-to-end UX design for digital products.
  • Develop and test layouts, interfaces, and navigation for compatibility and usability.
  • Conduct user research and analyze feedback to improve design quality.
  • Create prototypes, wireframes, and visual design concepts.
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility and privacy standards.
  • Collaborate with Management, Development, and Network teams to resolve conflicts and prioritize needs.
  • Document style guidelines and technical factors for digital interfaces.
  • Optimize designs for marketability and search engine ranking.
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging web and mobile technologies.
Required Experience/Skills for the Senior UX Designer:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX design for web, mobile, or connected platforms.
  • Strong portfolio to demonstrate work.
  • Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch).
  • Strong understanding of accessibility, usability, and privacy standards.
  • Experience with user research, prototyping, and testing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Experience /Skills for the Senior UX Designer:
  • Experience in medical, health, or diabetes-related product design.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and patient-centered design.
  • Exposure to connected device ecosystems and IoT platforms.
  • Knowledge of data privacy compliance (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is required.
