Job Overview
We are seeking a Dev Ops Manager to lead and scale our infrastructure and automation teams supporting medical device software platforms. This role focuses on delivering secure, scalable, and compliant infrastructure in a regulated healthcare environment.
Responsibilities- Lead a growing team of Dev Ops and Automation Engineers, providing mentorship, career development, and performance guidance.
- Define and execute the Dev Ops roadmap in collaboration with cross‑functional teams including Tech Ops, Engineering, QA, and Regulatory.
- Serve as a liaison between technical implementation teams and business stakeholders to align infrastructure strategy with product goals.
- Oversee automated infrastructure management using Terraform, Ansible, and Cloud Formation across AWS and hybrid environments.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and disaster recovery for cloud‑native deployments.
- Champion Infrastructure‑as‑Code and Git Ops best practices.
- Lead improvements to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI/CD) and enable frequent, reliable, and secure software delivery.
- Collaborate with Engineering and QA to support release automation, rollback strategies, and zero‑downtime deployments.
- Ensure infrastructure and operations meet regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, and IEC 62304.
- Lead initiatives around security automation, access controls, and audit readiness with Info Sec and Quality teams.
- Drive observability, incident response, and system reliability improvements using Datadog, Cloud Watch, Splunk, and similar tools.
- Support cost optimization and resource efficiency efforts in cloud environments.
- Bachelor’s Degree (required).
- 5+ years of experience in Dev Ops, Cloud Engineering, IT automation, or system administration.
- 3+ years of experience managing or leading technical teams.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Cloud Trail, etc.).
- Experience with IaC tooling such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, and Ansible.
- Hands‑on experience with hybrid and on‑premises software deployment and deployment automation.
- Understanding of networking, security, and cloud best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting with Python, Bash, or Power Shell.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Splunk, Cloud Watch, Datadog).

Exposure to moving electrical engineering parts, vibration and/or moderate noise levels, hazardous chemicals or other materials, and blood.
