IAM​/SAM; SIM SAM Middleware Engineer Senior

Job Title

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Has IAM (LDAP) subject matter expertise with internet and web software related technologies such as Java, Unix, Websphere, databases, network and other applications. Specifically:

• IBM Security Verify Governance V10 (or V9)
• IBM Security Verify Access V10 (or V9)

• ISIM (IBM Security Identity Manager) 7.0.1.12
• ISIM (IBM Security Identity Manager) 7.0.1.14
• ISAM (IBM Security Access Manager) 9.0.7.1
• Security Directory Integrator 7.2
• Security Directory Server (LDAP) 6.4

• Design plans to manage web software and server build outs and tuning, including planning and design sessions. Identify and implement monitoring solutions for key components.

• Perform operational support including security management, scheduling, error recovery, patching, upgrading, monitoring, change and incident management. Work closely with Architects, Developers, Business Analysts, Business teams and Project Managers.

• Perform root cause analysis and resolution.

• Develop custom assembly-line scripts

• Identifies and implements process improvements.

• Communicate within project teams to set deliverables and expectations (time/resource requirements).

• Develop documentation.

• Has strong experience (in Middleware, applications, hardware and networks) and has developed a broad and deep expertise in software, hardware, data structures, and communications technology across multiple platforms. Competent to work at a high technical level of all phases of middleware activities.

• Excellent trouble shooting skills and comfortable to speak up to give opinion and direction

• Be part of a team that provides 24x7 operational support

• Production support on-call rotation

• Work with business requirements to develop technical solutions during solutions design phase. Represent the interests/perspective of the Infrastructure team.

• Work with Professional Services to manage the relationship with internal and external services vendors to ensure superior service delivery for all testing work. Build vendor relations as appropriate.

• AWS Active Directory/LDAP (a plus)
• Scripting experience
• Reverse Proxy
• System for Cross-domain Identity Management – SCIM (nice to have)

• MQ Series
• Apache Tomcat
• Ansible
• Openshift/Cloud Pak
• AWS

• BA or BS degree w/ 5 - 8 years of related experience
