Service Now Technologist/Developer Overview:

Your
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years hands-on experience integrating, configuring and implementing Service Now (
Note:
End user experience does not constitute experience) - Experience in IT service management
- Service Now Certification is a plus such as Certified App Developer
- Experience with Service Now Development
- Understanding of Service Now product suite
- Understanding technical and functional design requirements related to Service Now
- Fundamental understanding of key technologies relevant to the Service Now integration solutions such as Service Now API's, SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS
- Ability to apply business concepts into a technical solution
- Plus is development skills such as HTML, CSS, Angular, JS, bootstrap
- Knowledge of Service Now best practices (including scripting, security, implementation)
- Experience with extending the Service Now schema to custom applications
- Experience in collaboration esp. within Agile Dev Environment (Scrum)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration and documentation skills
Set Yourself Apart With:
- Expertise level programming skills in Service Now
- Expertise level understanding of Service Now
- Experience with Service Now client and server-side Java script and the Service Now APIs
- Expertise on all technical questions related to development on Service Now
- Ability to drive technical specification of the Service Now integration and configuration needs
- Experience with development and implementation of Service Now ITSM modules
- Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management or other ITSM application - Experience with scripted Web-Services, AJAX, Business Rules, JavaScript, SOAP, REST SSO-SAML
- Experience with Setup and Integration of Service Now to Other Applications
- Understanding of Customizing Service Now using UI Pages, UI Macro & CMS using CSS, HTML, Jelly.
- Knowledge of Custom UI Changes with usage of Web Technologies such as DOM, HTML changes.
- Experience with Service Now's Service Watch and/or Discovery tools
- Experience in one (or more) scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows Shell)
- Experience presenting and conducting demo reviews with client stakeholders
Other Requirements:
Must be US Citizen
- Bachelor's Degree - DC Metro Area preferred
- Current (Client) public trust clearance is a plus
