Technical Business Analyst

Remote
- East Coast hours

The Technical Business Analyst will work closely with a growing team of developers to plan and execute cross-functional initiatives. This role will be involved with improving ongoing project management frameworks and executing on new projects across various initiatives. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on cross-functional projects related to new business lines or existing product improvements, resulting in the ability to make an immediate impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage project planning and execution using Scrum and similar frameworks to ensure that projects are prioritized properly
  • Collect project requirements from cross-functional teams and turn requirements into draft tickets to be implemented or reviewed by members of the tech team
  • Help manage the development board and product backlog of the tech team
  • Create, prioritize, and manage Asana tickets, and ensure that the relevant project instructions are being articulated properly to the tech team
  • Assist in creating end-to-end project requirements including sprint planning, testing, and launch, for new product launches, product updates, or third-party technology integrations
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to complete user acceptance testing, including capturing and prioritizing defects or feedback for developers
  • Help manage project backlog and production support tickets, considering business priority, effort required, and alignment with strategic roadmap
  • Work cross-functionally to manage project deadlines and address outstanding technical issues

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years of professional experience, preferably with product/project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in preferably Information Systems, Business, Finance, or related field
  • Scrum and Agile environment work experience, or familiarity with project management tools and processes such as Jira or Asana
  • Ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous, competing priorities simultaneously, without losing sight of the highest priority tasks
  • Experience working closely with engineering and design teams to launch/manage projects
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
