We are currently hiring a Full-Time Sr. Business Systems Analyst in Boston, Massachusetts.

You will play a key role in shaping data-driven solutions that support Supply Chain operations like transportation, forecasting, and customer service. In this role, you'll partner with cross-functional teams to turn complex business needs into scalable analytics and system solutions. You'll help drive innovation while ensuring solutions are reliable, efficient, and aligned with modern data platforms.

Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams' weekly schedule.

What You’ll Brew:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for supply chain processes including transportation, replenishment, forecasting, and customer service
  • Partner with data engineers, analytics teams, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver high-value data products
  • Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Design and support analytics-enabled solutions using tools such as Databricks, Power BI, and cloud-based data platforms
  • Drive initiatives that improve decision-making, reduce costs, and enhance service levels
  • Plan and prioritize work across sprint, quarterly, and long-term timelines
  • Support full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including agile delivery, testing, validation, and documentation
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve data products in collaboration with engineering teams
  • Lead initiatives from concept through delivery and sustained operational use
  • Work in a standard office environment with occasional travel as needed
What Ingredients You’ll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role
  • 5+ years of experience partnering with software, data, or analytics engineering teams
  • Experience working within agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Experience supporting supply chain or operational domains (e.g., transportation, forecasting, customer service)
  • Ability to manage work across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience translating business problems into data-driven solutions
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Databricks, Power BI, and cloud data environments
  • Experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a data mesh or domain-oriented analytics environment
  • Exposure to advanced analytics, forecasting models, or optimization use cases
  • Familiarity with automation, decision‑support tools, or AI‑enabled workflows
  • Experience supporting production analytics or data products
  • Background in consumer goods, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution industries

Level: 6IC

Salaried: At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $97,000 and $163,000. However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance.
