Rightfax Engineer And System Administrator
As the Right Fax Engineer and System Administrator for client’s Data Movement Technology team, you will use your knowledge of Open Text Right Fax and other related technologies and software including networking, process design, change control and upgrades to administer, maintain, and support our Automated business critical FAX services.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with multiple teams, such as client service and support teams, database administrators, network administrators, storage technicians, product vendor and others to help the Data Movement Technology team deliver the highest quality service and product for FAX automation.
Consult with business working groups or other technology teams to help design and deliver effective solutions and processes on the Rightfax platform.
Identify opportunities to optimize workflows and usage of the technology to achieve the objectives and goals of customers and the firm including resiliency and operational excellence
Plan & Execute projects to upgrade the platform, introduce new features & functions, or integrate with new systems or technologies, including assisting with budget planning.
Administer the platform; working with our Global Technical Operations team to operate and maintain the platform as required by SLA’s.
Work with the various vendors involved with the Automated FAX Services at the Firm, taking responsibility for managing all aspects of vendor engagement including professional services.
Support the platform by being an active, engaged, responsive part of rotational off-hours support.
Key
Qualifications:
- 7-8+ years of demonstrated experience with administration of fax solutions including at least 3+ years of specific Open Text Right Fax product.
- 5-7 years of experience in operational support and problem resolution for Windows-based systems.
- Knowledge of enterprise telecommunications technologies such as POTS, SIP, FOIP, cloud etc.
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server, T-SQL
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Professional IT Industry certifications are a plus
