Software Licensing Specialist
Reports to:
Sales License Compliance – Senior Director.
Location:
Boston, MA – Hybrid.
As a Software Licensing Specialist, you will execute advisory engagements that provide education and guidance around the proper use and management of PTC software. You will conduct usage assessments to determine a customer’s position with respect to their existing product entitlements and deployed PTC software. This customer‑facing role requires coordinating with a variety of internal and external contacts to obtain relevant data, validate and present assessment findings, negotiate fair resolutions, and close engagements in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities- Execute high‑quality advisory, usage assessment, and anti‑piracy activities to achieve project plan goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with Legal, Finance, Operations, Sales, Partners, and Customers.
- Manage expectations of stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Qualify potential engagements to determine strategy, scope, and approach.
- Make balanced, impartial, and timely judgments on customer engagements.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, planning, and multi‑tasking skills.
Effective interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills; diplomatic customer interaction; analytical thinking with attention to detail; proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of software commercial lifecycle, licensing, support and legal processes.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a related field.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Annual compensation ranging from $87,500 to $116,000 (base salary plus on‑target earnings). Eligible for the PTC Share Purchase Program and equity programs.
