IT Project Manager, IT Business Analyst
Overview
The Technology Vendor Manager at BBH is responsible for managing the entire Vendor Lifecycle within the Technology Group and in alignment with BBH policies and standards. This includes planning, selection, contracting, monitoring, renewals and termination. The manager proactively identifies issues and emerging risks, mitigates or escalates them as appropriate, and performs periodic reviews of vendor satisfaction to align vendor delivery with BBH needs.
Responsibilities- Contract Management
Provide relationship management and negotiation for a portfolio of medium‑spend technology contracts, support senior vendor managers as needed, define contractual service level agreements to measure vendor performance, and develop and document exit strategies. - Communication & Partnerships
Serve as the key management interface with internal and external stakeholders, work with systems management to determine vendor needs, communicate contract risks and exceptions, and oversee vendor relationships to ensure operational excellence. - Analysis / Metrics Design
Identify best practices across processes, develop and maintain vendor performance metrics, scorecards, and key performance indicators. - Risk / Compliance / Governance
Identify and track vendor risks, ensure mitigation or acceptance, and maintain documented exit strategies for high‑risk technology vendors.
- BA/BS degree in Business, MIS, Computer Science or Engineering (advanced degree desirable).
- 5‑7 years of experience managing technology projects, functions, and increasing levels of responsibility.
- Experience in commercial contract negotiation, strategic sourcing practices, vendor dashboards, strategic cost reduction initiatives, and vendor quality turnaround.
- Strong strategic skills for vendor negotiations.
- Track record of successful execution of cross‑functional strategic initiatives and significant change projects.
- Understanding of market competitiveness, emerging trends, and ability to provide global sourcing intelligence.
- Creative thinking skills with an emphasis on developing innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to motivate teams, and deliver persuasive presentations at all levels.
- Ability to facilitate and drive change in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment while managing ambiguity and shifting priorities.
Salary Range: $130,000 – $180,000 base salary + annual target bonus. BBH’s total rewards package includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, profit sharing, long‑term savings, healthcare, income protection, professional development opportunities, and time off.
