Job Title:
Senior Workday Solution Architect (HCM)
Location:
Remote (East & CST locations)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Solution Architect to join our HR Technology team and support enterprise-wide Workday HCM initiatives. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), partnering with business stakeholders to design, configure, and optimize Workday solutions across the HCM suite. The ideal candidate will combine strong functional consulting expertise with hands-on Workday configuration experience to deliver scalable, best-practice solutions that improve HR operations and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with HR stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
- Lead solution design sessions and recommend best-practice approaches across the Workday HCM platform.
- Configure and optimize Workday business processes, security, validations, notifications, and workflows.
- Analyze existing HR processes and identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and reduce manual effort.
- Evaluate the upstream and downstream impact of proposed solutions across the Workday ecosystem.
- Challenge business requirements when appropriate and provide strategic recommendations aligned with Workday best practices.
- Support enterprise HR transformation initiatives and process improvement projects.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Work closely with HR Centers of Excellence and internal HR Technology teams as a trusted consultant.
- Participate in Workday releases, enhancements, testing, and production support as needed.
- Extensive experience implementing and configuring Workday HCM in enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on configuration experience in Core HCM

- Time Tracking
- Prism Analytics
- Succession Planning
- Proven experience designing end-to-end Workday solutions and leading functional discussions.
- Strong consulting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working directly with HR business leaders and Centers of Excellence.
- Workday Certified Implementer certification.
- Experience supporting enterprise HR transformation programs.
- Experience optimizing Workday business processes and workflow automation.
- Familiarity with Workday Prism Analytics.
- Experience across multiple Workday HCM implementations.
- Workday integration experience (not required).
- Experience supporting large enterprise Workday environments.
