Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking an experienced Sr IT Planning & Strategy Professional to drive technology programs that involve cross‑organizational and strategic initiatives including AI, Infrastructure & Cloud, Security and Regulatory, and business initiatives in the Investment Management space. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in overseeing multiple interdependent technology projects, aligning them with strategic business goals, and a clear understanding of core technology platform concepts including microservices, AI gateways, data & analytics OLAP platforms, transactional databases such as Oracle, AWS architecture, API gateway, networking, security, automation, and platform architecture.
This role will drive the success of scalable, secure, and cost‑efficient cloud solutions, working closely with platform engineering, Dev Ops, and security teams to ensure alignment with business and compliance requirements.
This position requires extensive experience driving investment management technology implementations across IT architecture and development lifecycle experience in front and middle office. Understanding the investment domain is essential, including trade lifecycle through front and middle office, compliance and risk management. Understanding the budget process, ROI and business case construction is also essential.

WhatYou Will Be Responsible For
- Work with GA application technology solutions teams, cross‑organization architects, and platform engineering.
- Help manage application modernization migration and strategies.
- Lead programs that span across global development locations, understand current state challenges, course‑correct, and drive to completion.
- Work with technical SMEs to help identify creative solutions for technical challenges.
- Manage conflicts with multiple stakeholders while keeping the project goals in focus.
- Drive cloud solution programs for application teams on their modernization and migration.
- Prior experience driving programs that migrate application workloads to a cloud provider (AWS, Azure) in financial services.
- Strong knowledge in planning tools and forecasting.
- Practitioner level certifications on the cloud provider (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Extensive presentation experience in large forums.
- Extensive experience driving global teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to diplomatically and effectively manage issues across functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technology‑related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science).
- 14+ years of IT program and project management.
- 3+ years of cloud program experience.
- Technical background with 3–8 years in Python or Java as development experience (a plus).
- 7+ years of managing global teams.
- 5+ years of experience in data projects including relational databases or OLAP.
- Excellent knowledge of public cloud tech stack.
- Prior working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) or waterfall.
$120,000 - $202,500 annual. The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location, the applicable range could differ.
