Responsibilities
- Responsible for end-to-end architecture, security design, and governance of enterprise data platform
- Enable scalable, interoperable delivery across Investment Management use cases
- Architect hybrid Snowflake–Databricks architecture and govern data integrations
- Define and govern open platform strategy and standards for table formats
- Develop data virtualization patterns for logical access to data
- Lead architecture and solutioning for batch applications migrating to cloud-native platforms
- Enforce data security by design and ensure compliance with audits and data protection controls
- Engage stakeholders and produce architecture diagrams and design artifacts
- Previous experience supporting workloads in analytics, regulatory reporting, AI/ML, and batch applications
- Familiar with Snowflake
- Familiar with Databricks
- Knowledge of open data platforms (Iceberg/Parquet/Delta)
- Data virtualization skills
- Batch application architecture and modernization skills
- Multi-cloud platform experience (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Familiar with SQL, Python, Java, Java script, Scala, Spark, Notebooks, Snowpark
- Must know Linux and be comfortable with EC2 servers
- Experience in regulated industry (Financial Services, SOX, MRA, audit, NPPI/PII handling)
- Good team and communication skills
