Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Join a team modernising a core solution, moving from a legacy environment to a cloud first architecture on Azure.
• Design and optimise CI/CD pipelines.
• Deliver infrastructure as code.
• Enable developers to deploy and operate systems more efficiently and reliably.
• Work closely with engineering teams on automation, infrastructure, and deployment processes.
• Shape standards, tooling, and ways of working for Dev Ops foundations.

• Experience in Dev Ops, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform essential).
• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS also considered).
• Experience with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Scripting or coding experience (Python, Power Shell or similar).
• Understanding of security, compliance, and deployment practices.
• Comfortable working across infrastructure and development teams.
• Experience supporting .NET or web based applications (desirable).
• Exposure to hybrid or enterprise environments (cloud and on‑prem) (desirable).
• Experience with release strategies such as blue‑green or canary deployments (desirable).
• Exposure to financial services or data platforms (desirable).
• Experience with modern cloud architecture patterns (desirable).
