Workday Engineer Specializing in Advanced Compensation

Insight Global is seeking a Workday Engineer specializing in Advanced Compensation to join a top global consulting firm. This firm delivers solutions through innovative management consulting, technology, and corporate & digital ventures. The engineer will serve as a hands-on configuration expert focused primarily on Workday Advanced Compensation while partnering with compensation stakeholders and HR technology teams to support compensation cycles, future platform releases, and continuous system enhancements within a global environment.

Day-to-day responsibilities may include the following:

• Configure and maintain Workday Advanced Compensation solutions, including merit programs, bonuses, variable pay, allowances, eligibility rules, and compensation review statements.
• Support annual and off-cycle compensation processes, ensuring accurate execution of compensation events and salary review cycles.
• Configure and maintain Workday Security, business processes, condition rules, validations, and calculated fields.
• Collaborate with global compensation stakeholders and HR technology teams to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
• Perform system testing, validate configurations, troubleshoot issues, and support Workday releases and enhancements.
• Ensure data integrity, compliance, and audit readiness across compensation-related processes.
• Create and maintain configuration documentation, specifications, and process guides.
• Provide ongoing support and recommendations for future Workday enhancements and compensation-related initiatives.

This position is a 5-month contract, with the potential of extensions. This position requires individuals to reside in India, with a preference of being local to Delhi/Gurugram area to go into office a few days per month. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including geographic location, skills, experience, and education.
