Startup Solutions Architect, Boston District Startups

Overview

The AWS Startup Solutions Architecture team is dedicated to working with startup companies as they build their businesses. We help them leverage the power of AI and modern technologies, deploy scalable, secure, reliable, sustainable, and efficient architectures, and accelerate their growth across industries such as HCLS, Fin Tech, Climate Tech, Web 3, and AI/ML.

In this role you’ll work directly with customers, build enduring relationships with founders, advocate for startups in product development cycles, and help them adopt the right architecture at each stage of their lifecycle. You will also share knowledge through technical content and public speaking.

• Stay current with the latest technologies.
• Help a diverse range of startups adopt the appropriate architecture at each phase of their lifecycle.
• Support startups in architecting scalable, reliable, and secure solutions.
• Promote adoption of AWS services to deliver business value and accelerate growth.
• Support the evolution and roadmap of AWS platform and services, linking engineering teams with customer feedback.
• Build technical relationships within the startup ecosystem, including accelerators, incubators, and VCs.
• Develop startup‑specific technical content (blog posts, sample code, solutions) to help customers solve problems and reduce time‑to‑market.

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years of experience in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• 2+ years working with Data & AI technologies, including AI/ML, GenAI, analytics, database, and/or storage.

• Experience in software development or Internet‑related industries.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a Dev Ops perspective.
