At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we are seeking a Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS) Solutions Architect to join our HCLS organization within AWS Enterprise engaged accounts. In this role, you will help deliver our strategy for global HCLS customers and partners, working alongside some of the world's largest healthcare and life sciences companies to design cloud architectures that address their industry‑specific business challenges and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.

• Work closely with IT and business stakeholders at Medical Device and Life Sciences organizations to understand their unique requirements and challenges.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of the customer's business model, industry trends, and technical landscape.
• Architect and design AI first, scalable, secure, and cost‑effective AWS solutions that address the customer's specific needs.
• Guide the customer through the cloud migration process, ensuring a smooth transition and adoption of AWS services.
• Collaborate with the customer's technical teams to implement, configure, and optimize the AWS infrastructure.
• Build strong technical relationships with customer counterparts to support their cloud adoption journey.
• Provide ongoing support and optimization recommendations to maximize the value of the customer's AWS investment.
• Share best practices, conduct training, and enable the customer's team to independently manage the AWS environment.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and industry developments to recommend innovative solutions.

• 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructure.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
• Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals.
• Experience working with end user or developer communities.
• Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.

The base salary range for this position varies by location:

• USA, IL, Chicago -  -  USD annually
• USA, MN, Minneapolis -  -  USD annually
• USA, VA, Arlington -  -  USD annually
