Lead Analyst HR Technology - Workday

Role Summary

Lead Analyst HR Technology – Workday. Lead the optimization and continuous enhancement of HR systems, with primary responsibility for Workday configuration, integration, and user experience. Partner with HR and cross‑functional stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable system design.

• Lead end‑to‑end analysis, planning, and project execution for new Workday modules and functionality.
• Own and maintain Workday configuration (business processes, eligibility & condition rules, calculated fields, tenant configuration) ensuring data integrity and auditability.
• Partner with HR and downstream teams to deliver enterprise solutions aligned to the broader HR strategy.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate workflows, improving compliance and operational efficiency.
• Stay current on Workday roadmap and new features, evaluate and recommend adoption aligned to business value.
• Lead Workday release management: impact assessments, testing strategy, tenancy moves, stakeholder communications, and post‑deployment stabilization.
• Create and maintain system documentation (process maps, configuration decisions, runbooks) and support training materials for end users.
• Mentor and support junior HR Technology team members, provide peer review of configuration and testing artifacts.
• Act as escalation point for complex issues, coordinating with Workday Community, vendors, and internal IT to troubleshoot defects.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 6–8+ years of hands‑on Workday experience with end‑to‑end configuration in at least two functional areas (CoreHCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Talent Management, Security, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Integrations).
• Workday training and/or certifications (Workday Pro preferred).
• Strong reporting and data analysis skills, including Workday reporting, calculated fields, Excel.
• Experience with EIBs and data loads (preferred).
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to diagnose complex issues and recommend pragmatic solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder and project management skills with the ability to translate technical and functional concepts into clear guidance.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive relationships across the organization.
• Excellent organization, time management, and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.

Base salary range $98,500–$141,500; eligibility for competitive incentive bonus. MFS contributes 15% of base salary to a 401(k).
