Desktop Support Technician

Requirements

• We prefer candidates with some experience in IT help desk or desktop support.
• We look for strong communication skills and a patient, service-focused mindset.
• Attention to detail is important for accurately documenting tickets and following procedures.
• We value strong problem-solving, analytical, and creative thinking abilities.
• Relevant training or equivalent experience is required.
• We need someone who can work after hours and weekends when necessary.
• The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:

• We troubleshoot technical issues and respond to user inquiries.
• We create, update, and track support tickets throughout their lifecycle.
• We handle password resets for users.
• We install basic software applications on user devices.
• We diagnose and resolve hardware problems, including faulty peripherals, monitor issues, and connectivity concerns.
• We help run the IT service desk and deliver high-quality customer support.
• We support IT projects such as hardware refreshes, operating system upgrades, and rollouts of new applications or tools.
