Sr. Operations Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Operations Engineer to join a premier law firm client. The sr. engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving the firm's enterprise infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud environments. The role will focus on operational excellence, infrastructure reliability, automation, and supporting strategic technology initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities may include the following:

• Support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the firm's IT infrastructure and enterprise systems
• Manage and maintain on-premises and cloud environments, including servers, applications, virtualization platforms, and supporting infrastructure
• Partner with IT leadership to develop and enhance operational strategies, standards, policies, and best practices
• Design, implement, test, and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity
• Monitor system health, collect operational metrics, and identify opportunities for performance, reliability, and security improvements
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, software, and hardware issues
• Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies that improve operational efficiency and service delivery
• Participate in a rotating 24/7 Tier 3 on-call support schedule for critical incident response and escalation management

This is a full-time position that can sit fully remote in the US, working EST hours (9am-5pm EST). Compensation - $175k-$215k base salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including geographic location, skills, experience, and education.
