Position Summary

The GCO AI Enablement and Analytics Associate Director serves as the business-embedded technical expert responsible for advancing AI-enabled business transformation, advanced analytics, automation, and digital capabilities across Global Clinical Operations (GCO).

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Support GCO business transformation strategy aligned with clinical operations priorities and enterprise digital initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational performance via advanced analytics, automation, process mining, and digital capabilities.
  • Enable Performance Excellence initiatives through advanced and custom analytics.
  • Design, develop, and deploy low-code/no-code solutions, reusable agents, prompt libraries, workflow automations, and analytics assets within approved enterprise platforms.
  • Develop repeatable frameworks and reusable assets to accelerate adoption of AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Act as business lead for one or more digital platforms.
  • Evaluate platform capabilities and leverage embedded analytics, automation, and AI-driven insights.
  • Drive awareness and utilization of platform capabilities to improve efficiency and decision-making.
  • Provide technical expertise to evaluate AI-enabled technologies, analytics tools, and automation solutions.
  • Develop evaluation frameworks, business requirements, proof-of-concepts, and adoption criteria for new technologies.
  • Promote responsible AI principles (transparency, accountability, human oversight, appropriate use).
  • Establish communities of practice, super-user networks, and AI champion programs.
  • Coach and mentor stakeholders in AI, analytics, automation, and digital tools.
Required Education
  • Advanced degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Data science, or similar.
Required Experience
  • Typically 8 years’ experience in clinical operations, business transformation, analytics, data science, or operational excellence (life sciences/pharma/healthcare).
  • At least 5 years in AI/digital transformation initiatives and enabling technologies.
  • Demonstrated success building advanced analytics outputs.
  • Experience supporting/leading digital transformation and AI/automation initiatives preferred.
Required Knowledge/Skills
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills; translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
  • Hands-on data science and AI/ML methodologies.
  • Data analysis/visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of healthcare claims and EHR data; exposure to U.S. real-world data (RWD) sources.
  • Excellent communication, influence, and relationship-building across functions.
  • Strategic mindset with ability to execute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with cross-functional, matrixed global teams.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deliver on-time.
