SAP PM Utilities Manager
Location:
Boston, MA || hybrid to 75% onsite
We are seeking an experienced SAP Project/Program Manager with strong Utilities industry experience to manage the engagement and work closely with our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex SAP programs, strong Utilities domain knowledge, and excellent stakeholder-management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end SAP projects/programs within the Utilities industry.
- Own project delivery, timelines, scope, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the client, business stakeholders, SAP teams, and technical teams.
- Work closely with our team to establish project objectives, delivery plans, milestones, and governance.
- Manage cross-functional SAP teams across functional, technical, integration, data, infrastructure, and testing work streams.
- Drive requirements, solution alignment, project planning, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
- Lead project status meetings, steering committee meetings, governance reviews, and executive-level communications.
- Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and change requests.
- Ensure effective coordination between onsite and offshore teams.
- Monitor project KPIs, deliverables, resource utilization, and overall program health.
- Manage vendors, implementation partners, and third-party stakeholders where applicable.
- Ensure adherence to project governance, quality standards, methodologies, and SAP best practices.
- Facilitate decision-making and resolve escalated project and delivery issues.
- Support business transformation initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure successful transition to production and stabilization/support teams.
- Provide regular executive reporting on program status, risks, financials, milestones, and key decisions.
