Overview
Title: Technical Integration Architect
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 12+ months
Compensation: Estimated Min/Max Rate: $73.43 - $104.90/hr (pay ranges are estimations; actual pay determined by experience and qualifications)
Note: This role is described as "ONLY W2/NO C2C". 3 days onsite per week.
Responsibilities- Design and implement integration solutions across cloud platforms and data systems.
- Develop REST APIs, SOAP web services, and event-driven integration patterns.
- Implement and tune data integration processes, ETL, and middleware technologies.
- Leverage iPaaS solutions and Azure-based integration services (Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, Service Bus).
- Apply identity management, authentication (Azure AD, SAML, OAuth), and security best practices in integration projects.
- Collaborate with higher education systems and standards (e.g., Banner, Workday, Canvas, Service Now, Salesforce; IMS Global, PESC).
- Introduce Dev Ops practices for ongoing integration delivery and governance.
- Mentor and communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field;
Master’s preferred - 7+ years IT architecture experience, including 5+ years in integration architecture
- Strong expertise in Azure cloud, including Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, and Service Bus
- Experience designing REST APIs, SOAP, and event-driven architectures
- Data integration patterns, ETL processes, middleware technologies
- Experience with iPaaS solutions
- Identity management and authentication systems (Azure AD, SAML, OAuth)
- Dev Ops practices for integration solutions
- Familiarity with higher education systems (Banner, Workday, Canvas, Service Now, Salesforce, etc.)
- Knowledge of data standards (IMS Global, PESC) and data governance, security, and privacy (FERPA, GDPR)
- Excellent communication skills
- Azure certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Integration and Developer Associate)
- Experience with Ellucian Ethos, Informatica Cloud, Kafka, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake
- Containerization and microservices (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience in large, complex higher education implementations
- Agile methodologies and project management tools
- Knowledge of student success data integration requirements
