Senior Director Of Product & Technology

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related STEM field
• 10+ years of product management experience within large-scale enterprise environments, including ownership of complex software products and platforms
• 10+ years of people leadership experience, including managing managers and large cross-functional organizations
• 7+ years of experience building and leading high-performing product management and software development teams.
• Proven experience creating product roadmaps, driving strategic initiatives, and delivering large-scale technology programs.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, product management methodologies, systems integration, and enterprise technology architecture.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and change management skills.
• Experience managing direct and matrixed teams, including vendor and outsourced resources.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience driving data-informed decisions.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience supporting healthcare, life sciences, biomedical research, academic research, or other highly regulated environments.
• Experience implementing AI, machine learning, and large language model solutions within enterprise environments.

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Senior Director of Product & Technology to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of enterprise technology products and platforms that support a large, research-driven organization. This leader will oversee a portfolio of complex applications, data platforms, and technical solutions while partnering closely with executive stakeholders to align technology initiatives with organizational objectives. Day to day responsibilities include:
• Define and execute product and technology strategy, establishing long-term roadmaps that align business priorities, user needs, and emerging technology trends.
Lead cross-functional teams through product planning, requirements gathering, prioritization, development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise platforms.
• Oversee a large portfolio of internally developed and integrated systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and exceptional user experience.
• Drive enterprise data initiatives focused on data stewardship, accessibility, analytics, and informed decision-making across the organization.
• Identify and implement emerging technologies, including AI and large language model (LLM) capabilities, to improve operational efficiency and product innovation.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing organization consisting of directors, product managers, software developers, analysts, infrastructure professionals, and integration specialists
• Manage product delivery frameworks, release management practices, integration strategies, and governance processes to ensure successful execution across multiple initiatives.
• Partner with executive leadership and key stakeholders to prioritize technology investments, communicate progress, and drive strategic outcomes.
• Oversee departmental budgeting, resource allocation, vendor relationships, and offshore partnerships to maximize operational effectiveness.
• Establish best practices for product management, software delivery, and organizational change management while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law. Compensation $117/hour – $137/hour Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
