Epic Integration Analyst

Required Skills & Experience Must Haves:
Hands-on experience working with Epic, including familiarity with Epic workflows and supported Epic integrations. Prior experience in an Epic Integration Analyst or similar Epic analyst role. Strong healthcare industry experience, preferably within hospital or academic medical center environments. Working knowledge of key Epic data domains (ADT, orders, results, billing, clinical data, etc.). Experience reviewing or supporting interface specifications (HL7, APIs, FHIR, etc.).

Experience executing integration testing and assisting with test plan development. Ability to analyze data issues, troubleshoot integration errors, and support resolution efforts. Strong documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience Plusses:
Experience supporting complex system transitions or decoupling or merger initiatives. Epic Bridges.

Job Description Day to Day: A Boston-based healthcare and cancer research institute is seeking an experienced Epic Integration Analyst to support integration activities during a large-scale health system transition. This role will be hands-on and execution-focused, supporting a complex decoupling from an existing Epic instance while preparing for integration with a new health system as part of a broader merger. The Epic Integration Analyst will be responsible for analyzing interface requirements, supporting interface build and configuration, validating data flow, and assisting with testing efforts to ensure accurate and reliable integrations.

This individual will work closely with technical, clinical, and operational stakeholders to support interoperability, data integrity, and continuity of care throughout the transition.

  • Key Responsibilities:

• Defining work scope and time estimations and identifying and mitigating risks.
• Maintaining status reports, updating project stakeholders, and escalating as needed.
• Creating Business Requirement Documents for end users and integration developers.
• Working with integration team members and vendors to set priorities. Identifying areas that need system or workflow enhancements.
• Creating unit, functional, and integrated test plans.
• Creating change control entries and cutover plans.
• Producing and maintaining documentation of integration projects and enhancements.

Compensation: $58 - $68

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching after 90 days. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable state law in which candidate resides.
