Position: Deals DTDS Contracts Intern Summer 2027

The Opportunity

As a Deals - DTDS - Contracts Intern, you will engage in data analysis and analytics within our Advisory practice, supporting clients in achieving sustainable growth and competitive advantage. This role involves working closely with teams to gather and analyze data, providing insights that drive decision-making and innovation. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and contribute to projects that impact our clients' strategic objectives.

As an Intern, you will support teams by participating in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's methodologies. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments. This role emphasizes developing your personal brand and understanding the diverse perspectives and needs of others. You will be encouraged to actively listen, ask questions, and express ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting teams in data analysis projects by conducting research and gathering information
  • Participating in the development of data-driven insights to assist in decision-making processes
  • Assisting in the creation and maintenance of data visualization dashboards to communicate key metrics
  • Engaging in algorithm development to solve analytical problems and enhance data processing
  • Utilizing tools like Alteryx and Power BI to automate data workflows and generate reports
  • Collaborating with team members to integrate data from various sources into unified views
  • Applying data mining techniques to identify patterns and trends within large datasets
  • Contributing to the validation of data integrity and security measures across analytics platforms
  • Observing and learning from experienced professionals to gain exposure to PwC's methodologies and practices
  • Taking initiative to ask questions and seek feedback to enhance personal and professional growth

What You Must Have

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
  • Client service intern positions are entry-level and job seekers are traditionally either in their 3rd year of a 4 year degree program or in the 4th year of a 5 year program. Client service interns typically join us during the winter/spring or summer prior to their intended graduation year

  • Preference for at least one of the following fields of study:
    Business Analytics, Computer Information System, Computer Programming, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Industrial & System Engineering, Industrial and Operations Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Informatics, Information Science, Information System, Information Technology, Management Information Systems
  • Preferred cumulative GPA: 3.3
  • Preferred major GPA: 3.3
  • Leveraging AI to create efficiencies, innovate ways of working and deliver distinctive outcomes
  • Supporting teams with data analysis and research tasks
  • Participating in cloud platform design and data architecture projects
  • Observing and learning from experienced data and analytics professionals
  • Developing skills in data visualization and dashboard creation

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
