Principal Database Engineer

• Lead all aspects of the design, development, and delivery of database, business intelligence, data warehouse, and data integration solutions
• Partner cross-functionally to provide expert technical knowledge and leadership guidance during design, development, and delivery
• Engage with business users to extract complex requirements and priorities and propose the right business solution
• Champion and create Company development standards or industry best practices across business intelligence and data warehouse solutions
• Assist the organization with understanding, testing, and incubating the newest technology advances and best practices to support future business drivers
• Lead technical teams in designing and developing data solutions through expert technical and architectural guidance
• Design logical and physical data models, ETL jobs, and repository metadata for functional departments using telecommunications or real estate industry data
• Create and maintain all database models
• Audit and review performance metrics for new and existing data integration solutions and database queries to ensure adherence to service level agreements and system health

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a related field, plus 10 years of experience in the job offered or Technical Lead/Consultant/Principal/Senior Consultant
• Master’s degree in the stated fields plus 8 years of experience in the job offered or Technical Lead/Consultant/Principal/Senior Consultant accepted as an alternative
• 6 years of experience using relational databases, ETL, data warehouse, and business intelligence
• 6 years of experience using Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, or SVN
• 6 years of experience with SQL and PL/SQL programming language
• 6 years of experience with Kimball methodology, star or snowflake schemas, and semantic layer design
• 6 years of experience with SQL Developer, SQL Server Management Studio, and SQL Server Database
• 6 years of experience with Oracle 10g databases, Oracle Golden Gate, and Oracle Data Integrator Platform
• 6 years of experience designing and developing data integration solutions using ODI Studio
• 6 years of experience with Topology and ODI models
• 6 years of experience with Master and Work Repositories
• 6 years of experience with Business Intelligence Platform
• 6 years of experience with OAS Enterprise Manager
• 6 years of experience with OAS Repository Development or Enterprise BI Tool Metadata development
• 6 years of experience with OAS Data visualization
• 6 years of experience with Essbase Cubes development
• 6 years of experience with OAS Admin
• 6 years of experience with Power BI

Demonstrates expertise in designing and developing data solutions, including database models, ETL processes, and business intelligence platforms. Proficient in utilizing industry best practices and methodologies such as Kimball for data warehousing and integration.
