JOB DESCRIPTION Risk Remediation Ownership Own remediation planning for identified technology risks, vulnerabilities, audit findings, control gaps, infrastructure defects, and regulatory commitments. Translate risk findings into actionable project plans with defined scope, owners, milestones, dependencies, target dates, evidence requirements, and closure criteria. Drive remediation execution across infrastructure, application, cybersecurity, risk, compliance, vendor, and operations teams to ensure timely risk reduction. Maintain clear remediation trackers, action logs, RAID logs, risk acceptance decisions, exception records, and management reporting for open items.
Ensure remediation outcomes are validated, documented, and formally closed with appropriate stakeholder signoff and audit-ready evidence. Infrastructure Project Management Lead infrastructure projects involving server upgrades, operating system remediation, database migrations, storage changes, network updates, cloud enablement, identity integrations, and technology refresh efforts. Coordinate project schedules, change windows, implementation plans, testing cycles, backout plans, deployment readiness, and operational transition activities. Manage technical dependencies across firewalls, DNS, certificates, service accounts, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, IAM, middleware, and downstream application interfaces.
Facilitate technical working sessions to confirm sequencing, resource alignment, risk impacts, implementation ownership, and production readiness. Drive project delivery through stabilization and closure, ensuring production changes meet business, security, resiliency, and operational requirements. Governance, Reporting & Escalation Provide consistent status reporting on remediation progress, project milestones, risks, blockers, dependencies, aging items, and executive-level decisions needed. Establish governance routines including weekly working groups, leadership updates, readiness checkpoints, issue reviews, and closure validation meetings.
Escalate delivery risks, missed commitments, resource constraints, technical blockers, change conflicts, and control issues through the appropriate management channels. Partner with PMO, risk, audit, cybersecurity, infrastructure leadership, and business stakeholders to align remediation priorities with enterprise risk appetite and delivery timelines. Prepare concise, executive-ready updates that clearly communicate risk posture, remediation burn-down, delivery health, required decisions, and next steps. Remediation and Infrastructure Execution Lead end-to-end remediation and infrastructure delivery from initiation, discovery, and planning through implementation, validation, stabilization, decommissioning where applicable, and closure.
Develop project charters, integrated remediation plans, delivery schedules, critical path views, resource models, budgets, RAID logs, and executive-level reporting cadence. Define remediation scope, success criteria, entry/exit gates, rollback criteria, operational acceptance criteria, evidence requirements, and validation checkpoints. Coordinate cross-functional work streams across compute, storage, network, database, middleware, cloud, IAM, cybersecurity, application support, operations, and vendor teams. Manage dependencies across environments, interfaces, firewalls, DNS, certificates, service accounts, monitoring, backup, DR, and downstream consumer systems.
Drive readiness reviews, implementation planning, go/no-go decisions, transition checklists, production change windows, and post-implementation issue resolution. Risk Remediation and Infrastructure Program Delivery Manage risk remediation and infrastructure initiatives related to data center exits, technology refresh, control gap closure, vulnerability reduction, and audit finding remediation. Lead server, operating system, database, storage, backup, virtualization, Citrix/VDI, endpoint, and infrastructure remediation initiatives. Coordinate cloud migration and modernization efforts across AWS, Azure, GCP, hybrid platforms, and supporting connectivity patterns.
Oversee network enablement, firewall rule migration, load balancer changes, routing, SD-WAN, DNS, certificate, and secure connectivity dependencies. Support identity, access, privileged account, MFA/SSO, and service account remediation activities required for successful migration. Ensure disaster recovery, resiliency, monitoring, logging, vulnerability remediation, and cyber controls are validated before migration closure.
