Solutions Architect Role Overview
Our organization is seeking a Solutions Architect to support a project to decommission legacy authentication servers and migrate internal and external applications to new, approved enterprise authentication services. This role is focused on enhancing security, governance, and compliance while reducing operational risks and improving scalability and efficiency across critical business applications. The project involves a detailed and phased implementation to ensure a seamless transition with minimal disruption.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the decommissioning of legacy authentication servers, including the Feb Sec AS platform.
- Migrate internal and external applications to new enterprise authentication services.
- Design and implement new authentication services to meet high security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop strategies to ensure the new services are scalable to support future organizational growth.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with outdated legacy systems.
- Create detailed plans for phased implementation to minimize disruption and downtime.
- Manage user access and permissions during the migration process.
- Ensure secure data transfer methods are employed during migration.
- Provide comprehensive training and support to staff on the new authentication services.
