Back Endpoint Administrator / Systems Admin Desktop Engineer Boston , Massachusetts Perm 100000 Aug 31, 2026 $ 100000.00 - $130000.00 Alexander Technology Group is seeking an Endpoint Administrator for a permanent role with an established local client. The Endpoint Administrator will take ownership of the company's internal Microsoft ecosystem (M365, Intune, Entra, Sharepoint), act as a final stop escalation point for the support team, and help lead and grow the support team.

• Administer and support Microsoft 365
  , including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, Entra , groups, mailboxes, and licensing.
• Manage Microsoft Intune and Windows endpoints
  , including device configuration, application deployment, compliance, security policies, and lifecycle management.
• Own workstation patch management and vulnerability remediation
  , including deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and reporting.
• Serve as a Level 3 escalation point for complex Microsoft 365, endpoint, identity, and application issues.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to the Service Desk team.
• Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, standards, and support procedures.
• Support onboarding/offboarding, access management, asset lifecycle activities, automation, and continuous process improvement.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, GRC, vendors, and business stakeholders to maintain a secure and reliable environment.

• 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration, IT Operations, End User Computing, Desktop Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Intune
  .
• Technical expertise with Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, Entra , Windows endpoints, application deployment, and device compliance
  .
• Experience with patch management, vulnerability remediation, endpoint security, and device lifecycle management
  .
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Microsoft 365, endpoints, identity, and productivity applications.
• Experience with Power Shell/automation and identity technologies such as MFA, SSO, and Conditional Access preferred.
• Microsoft 365 certifications, ITSM/ITIL knowledge, and cybersecurity/GRC experience are a plus.
• Strong communication, documentation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
