Business Analyst

Job Requirements/Qualifications

• 4 or more years of experience in IT environments with at least 3 years of direct business analysis in large-scale system development.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Microsoft Project to track tasks and document requirements.

• Experience with Agile software development methodologies and managing deliverables throughout the full software development life cycle (SDLC).

• Experience with Azure Dev Ops environments, Agile backlog management, and Azure Active Directory integrations.

• Experience in analyzing relational databases, data models, and mapping data schemas for system modernization.

• Experience with healthcare, human services, or public-sector IT programs, specifically supporting compliance and case management systems.

• Excellent communication and active listening skills to build rapport with diverse technical teams, stakeholders, and business groups.

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between technical development groups and business end-users to gather and document functional specifications.

• Translate complex stakeholder needs into structured use cases, Agile user stories, workflow charts, and process diagrams.

• Participate in system design and prototyping sessions to optimize operational workflows and information flow.

• Conduct detailed gap analyses and study system capabilities to support the re-engineering of legacy case management applications.

• Author and execute robust testing plans to perform integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Formulate comprehensive implementation plans, technical user guides, and training documentation to facilitate successful system rollouts.

• Assist project leadership in evaluating software vendors and platform proposals against documented business and technical needs.
