Technical System Analyst

10+ month contract, likely extension / long term contract

Our client is seeking a Technical Systems Analyst to provide Tier 2 support for a mix of enterprise and SaaS applications. This role will focus on application troubleshooting, incident resolution, file transfer support, system monitoring, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate will enjoy solving complex technical issues while delivering excellent customer service to end users.

• Provide Tier 2 support for business-critical applications and resolve escalated incidents.
• Support and troubleshoot secure file transfer solutions (MoveIT or similar SFTP platforms).
• Monitor application health, investigate alerts, and assist with outage resolution.
• Analyze recurring issues and recommend process or system improvements.
• Document troubleshooting activities, procedures, and operational processes.
• Partner with technical teams and business users to resolve issues and enhance application performance.
• Participate in an on-call support rotation as needed.

• 3+ years of experience in application support, systems support, or a related technical role.
• Experience supporting MoveIT or comparable managed file transfer/SFTP solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, integrations, and technical environments.
• Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management processes.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Service Now or similar ITSM platforms.
• Application monitoring and alerting tools.
• AWS environments and modern application architectures.
• Knowledge of SDLC concepts and change management processes.
• Process improvement and automation initiatives.
