Senior Technical Project Manager

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Scope and Complexity:
  Oversee highly complex projects with budgets exceeding $1M, critical to strategic objectives, involving multiple departments and external partners.
• Strategic Leadership and Planning:
  Lead strategic decision-making with full accountability for project outcomes and resource management, collaborating with senior leadership to translate initiatives into detailed project plans that align with institutional priorities and ensure measurable success.
• Analysis:
  Translate business processes into technical solutions, expertly guiding analysts in requirement gathering and performing analysis as needed.
• Stakeholder Interaction and Communication:
  Engage with executive leadership and diverse stakeholders to drive project success and foster organizational collaboration.
• Project Oversight:
  Lead planning, execution, and evaluation of large-scale projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget, while proactively managing portfolio impact.

• Extensive experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects successfully.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on strategic thinking and innovation.
• Expertise in project management software and templates, with a strong application of project management methodologies and scheduling solutions such as MS Project
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• High success in applying complex IT concepts in application development and support, networking, system integration, and information security.
• Expertise with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Champion of formal project management methodologies, including waterfall, spiral, agile, lean, DMAIC, etc.
• Accomplished written and verbal communications skills with staff through leadership of varying levels of technical aptitude, translating business needs into technical solutions and driving decisions
