Systems Administrator, Windows Server
We are seeking a Windows System Administrator with 3 to 5 years of experience to support the automation and modernization of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra environments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automation, scripting, and continuous improvement, leveraging tools such as Power Shell, Terraform, and AI-assisted solutions to streamline operational processes, reduce technical debt, and maintain secure, standardized infrastructure services.
This role will work closely with engineering and operations teams to enhance identity and access management capabilities while driving efficiency through automation.
In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilities
Automation Engineer with Power Shell and Terraform knowledge for automation of manual task with relationship to Active Directory/Entra and windows server management. Day to day work will include review current configuration of systems and work on task to bring system up to standards, decommission necessary technical debt with the AD and Entra systems.

Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
- Able to learn quickly processes used currently.
- Programing manual task with simple scripts.
- Strong understanding of active directory and entry technologies.
- Tool-set and technologies:
Active directory, Entra SSO, SNOW AD spoke automation. - Power Shell.
- Terraform.
- Able to use AI tools to accomplish repetitive tasks.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience working in Agile and Dev Ops-oriented environments.
