A well-established Boston-based law firm is seeking an experienced Technology & Outsourcing Attorney to join on a lateral basis. The firm is open to counsel- or partner-level candidates with a portable book of business and a strong background advising on complex technology transactions and outsourcing arrangements.

This opportunity is ideal for a senior attorney looking to expand a technology-focused practice within a collaborative, growth-oriented platform that offers flexibility and meaningful client engagement.

The attorney will advise clients across a wide range of technology and outsourcing matters, including:

• IT outsourcing and business process outsourcing (BPO) transactions
• SaaS, cloud services, software licensing, and technology services agreements
• Managed services and complex commercial contracts
• Technology development, implementation, and integration agreements
• Data rights, privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory considerations impacting technology transactions
• Technology-related diligence and contracting support in M&A and financing transactions

The position involves drafting, negotiating, and managing sophisticated commercial and technology agreements, as well as serving as a strategic advisor to clients navigating evolving technology and regulatory landscapes.

• Maintain and grow a portable book of business
• Lead client relationships and contribute to business development efforts
• Collaborate cross-functionally with corporate, IP, privacy, and litigation teams

• JD from an accredited law school
• Active bar admission in Massachusetts or another U.S. jurisdiction
• Significant experience handling technology transactions and outsourcing matters at a law firm or in-house
• Demonstrated ability to deliver practical, business-oriented legal advice
• Portable book of business for partner consideration
• Strong communication skills and an entrepreneurial, team-oriented mindset
