Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys in all aspects of real estate transactions, including due diligence, closing, and post‑closing activities for real‑estate acquisitions, dispositions, and leasehold transactions.
  • Conduct research on legal issues related to real property, financing, debt, equity, and foreclosure.
  • Prepare and review legal documents such as deeds, leases, purchase agreements, easements, and other documents related to real estate.
  • Coordinate and manage the closing process for various real‑estate transactions, ensuring all necessary documents are in order.
  • Provide notary services as necessary.
  • Organize and maintain files and databases to ensure easy retrieval of information.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes.
  • Stay updated on changes in real‑estate law and inform the team of any significant changes that may affect current or future transactions.
  • Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
  • A Paralegal certification from an accredited institution.
  • Extensive knowledge of real‑estate law, including real property, financing, debt, equity, and foreclosure.
  • Proven experience in handling complex real‑estate transactions.
  • Proficiency in legal research and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Notary certification is preferred.
