Position:
Assistant Attorney General – Health Care & Fair Competition Bureau, Antitrust Division (Boston Office)

Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell seeks an experienced attorney to join the Antitrust Division.

Primary Duties
  • Represent the Commonwealth in investigations and litigation before state and federal courts, handling a substantial number of matters involving the enforcement of state and federal antitrust laws.
  • Deal with a broad range of industries and complex legal and economic issues.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, including those from other states, the DOJ, and the FTC.
  • May be involved in policy development, including drafting or reviewing proposed legislation.
Position Type and Salary
  • Full-Time / Exempt. Hybrid model includes some remote workdays.
  • Salary range: $87,500 – $130,595, commensurate with JD year.
Credentials and Experience
  • Must be a member of the Massachusetts bar or be eligible for admission in short order.
  • Three or more years of complex civil litigation experience.
  • Experience in antitrust or competition law is desired but not required.
  • Experience with quantitative or economic analyses preferred.
  • Strong oral and written advocacy skills; ability to grasp complex legal, business, financial, and economic concepts.
  • Self‑motivated with sound judgment and decision‑making ability.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated connection to the people and communities served, and interest in a respectful, diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment.
