Seeking a Senior Employment Law Associate to join its dedicated Employment Law Practice. The ideal candidate will bring more than 5 years of hands‑on experience handling complex employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour claims, and related litigation.
This role involves a hybrid work schedule requiring a minimum of 3 in‑office days per week, with flexibility to work remotely the remaining days. The base salary benchmark is approximately $130K for a 2020 JD, alongside a compelling bonus structure and reduced billable hour requirement (1,800 hours). The firm prioritises work‑life balance, strong mentorship, and a supportive team culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdvocate on behalf of clients in employment‑related disputes and litigation.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and attend mediations and court proceedings.
Conduct legal research and develop strategic legal arguments aligned with current employment law.
Lead case strategy and management from intake through resolution.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and provide mentorship to junior associates.
Maintain responsive, empathetic communication with clients navigating sensitive matters.
QualificationsJD (Juris Doctor) from an accredited law school.
5+ years of experience in employment law and litigation.
Active bar membership in Massachusetts (or reciprocity eligible).
Proficiency with legal research tools (Westlaw, Lexis Nexis).
Strong writing and analytical skills.
Willingness to work onsite at least 3 days per week.
