Boston, MA (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
A highly regarded global investment management firm is seeking a Legal Affairs Manager to lead a combined corporate governance and transaction support paralegal function within its Boston headquarters.
This is a visible leadership role supporting internal attorneys, finance stakeholders, and external counsel across a dynamic private investment platform. The position blends corporate entity management, deal execution support, regulatory coordination, and legal operations oversight — while directly managing workflow, quality control, and team development.
This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned paralegal or legal operations professional who thrives in high-volume, high-accountability environments such as private equity, asset management, or top-tier law firms.
The Role
The Legal Affairs Manager will:

- Serve as primary reviewer for team deliverables (entity records, closing documentation, KYC packages, filings coordination, NDA processing, etc.)
- Assign priorities and manage deadlines across a junior-to-mid-level paralegal team
- Partner closely with internal attorneys and external counsel during active deal cycles
- Drive process improvement initiatives, including SOP development, templates, tracking tools, and reporting
- Oversee legal spend tracking and vendor coordination
- Ensure entity records and documentation are transaction-ready at all times
- Act as escalation point for complex or time-sensitive matters
