WHYPFDLAW’SFISCALLAWBRANCH: PFD Law seeks highly qualified attorneys with at least two years’ experiencehandlingallaspectsof
Federalcontractingandappropriationslaw.
Fiscal Lawattorneysprovide legal guidance on a wide variety of contracting and appropriations law issues, including legal advice and guidance regarding federal contracting, proper use of agency funds, agreements with other agencies, and associated Federal Regulations. Fiscal Law attorneys also represent the agency in bid protests.
Attorneys joining PFD Law will have significant responsibility for their own caseloads. Attorneys should have demonstratedstronganalytical,research,andwritingskills,aswellassoundoraladvocacyskillstorepresent SSA’s interests.
Attorneys also must have the ability to quickly form positive relationships with internal clients and external partners. Fiscal Law attorneys also may have the opportunity to work with the Department of Justice in representing SSA in Federal courts.

We are hiring GS-12throughGS-14attorneys. Salary depends on experience and location. The base salary ranges from $76,463-$139,684 and individuals in many geographic locations receive additional locality pay. Please see Salaries & Wages (opm.gov) for the salary range in your location.
